Team Switzerland head to Brands Hatch this weekend with the A1GP series title almost wrapped up.
Switzerland approach the championship finale 29 points ahead of nearest competitors New Zealand.
A new name will be on the A1GP cup whoever wins but, with only 31 points up for grabs, the series is there for the taking for the Swiss.
Previous winners are France (2006) and Germany (2007) but the French currently sit third and the Germans are sixth - both out of contention.
Sunday’s race action will start with a morning sprint race, with 15 points up for grabs to the winner and another 15 on offer for the feature race in the afternoon. Teams are awarded a bonus point for the fastest lap.
Sitting fourth are Great Britain and they are still in with a chance of securing their best ever finish in A1GP.
They sit 22 points behind current second-placed team New Zealand. Great Britain have finished in the bronze medal position in each of the last two seasons.
Taking the seat for Team Great Britain is Robbie Kerr.
"I cannot wait to return to Brands Hatch and race in front of the home crowd," said Kerr. "My main focus is to go one better than last year and win both races.
“Obviously we cannot control our competitors so what happens with the Championship happens, but we’ll certainly make sure our chances are good by going out there and targeting the front row in qualifying and then winning races from there."
The Formula Palmer Audi Championship, the Porsche Open Championship and the Britcar series are among the support races during the weekend.
Racing is on Sunday with adult tickets costing £35. Practice admission is £12 and qualifying is £15. Children 12 and under go free.
Current A1GP Standings: 1st Switzerland (150pts), 2nd New Zealand (121), France (111), Great Britain (99), South Africa (92), Germany (83), Ireland (83), Netherlands (80), Canada (75).
