Now popular 25-year-old Chapman, who can play in defence or midfield, has been added to that list by Fleet boss Danny Searle.

It means the former Gillingham youngster will be extending his stay at Stonebridge Road to five seasons having originally joined from Dulwich.

“It's a long time, it feels like home at the moment and every year is getting better and I'm enjoying it more and more,” Chapman told FleetTV.

“We've got to do the best we can week in, week out. I want to start the season how I finished the last one, keep scoring goals and playing well.”

Chapman was one of the Fleet’s standout players under Searle at the end of the 2023/24 season, playing a major role in helping the club preserve their National League status.
