"The level up continues," posted Gravesend boxer Cheavon Clarke after sealing his first professional title.
Clarke went deep to record his most notable victory to date on Saturday - a 10-round win over the Czech Republic's Vasil Ducar for the IBF international cruiserweight crown at OVO Arena Wembley.
The win takes his record to 7-0 with five knockouts, with Ducar joining David Jamieson and Israel Duffus on Clarke's list of conquests for 2023.
"[It was] a lot of small things done well," he added in a post on X/Twitter.
Clarke had never previously gone the distance at Wembley, with two stoppage victories in his previous three bouts heading into the night.
Despite Ducar pushing the 32-year-old all the way, the scores were 99-91, 99-91 and 98-92 in favour of Clarke, who turned professional with Matchroom Boxing last January.
He had featured for Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics, missing out on a medal, after he had claimed Commonwealth Games bronze for England in 2018 in Australia.
Montego Bay-born Clarke previously had competed for the country of his birth at the 2014 Commonwealth Games before he changed his sporting allegiance.
