Ebbsfleet v Woking
EBBSFLEET boss Liam Daish is refusing to give up hope of reaching the Blue Square Premier play-offs ahead of their game against Woking at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Fleet go into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat against Kidderminster Harriers and remain 12 points behind fifth-placed Cambridge United with two games in hand.
Daish said: "We’ve got two big home games coming up against Woking and Aldershot. At this stage of the year you are playing a lot of games so we have got to keep mentally focused on what we’re doing. We have to try and amass as many points as we can and hope that it is enough."
The former Republic of Ireland international is remaining hopeful that other teams around them will slip up.
He added: "You can be in the play-offs all year but if your form is lost in the last few games, and you still hang in there, then it can be difficult going into two very important games. For me the form of a team is vital."
