Ebbsfleet have signed Cambridge United striker Adam Cunnington on an 18-month contract.
Cunnington, 27, joins former Gills favourite Danny Kedwell in the Fleet's new-look strikeforce.
He earned a move to Cambridge in May 2013, signing a two-year deal, having scored 21 league goals for their Conference rivals Tamworth in 2012-13.
Cunnington scored 10 times in 31 appearances for the U's last season, helping them win promotion back to the Football League via the play-offs.
He scored two goals in eight appearances for Cambridge this term and also spent three months on loan with Bristol Rovers, netting three times in 16 appearances for the Vanarama Conference outfit.
One of those was against Dover in a 1-1 draw at the Memorial Stadium on October 4.
The striker's last game for Cambridge was on December 28. He started and scored against Stevenage although the U's lost the League 2 clash 3-2.
Cunnington played for Solihull Moors, Kettering and Dagenham & Redbridge earlier in his career.
Fleet boss Jamie Day said: "Adam is a player I’ve seen a fair bit of in his time at Cambridge and he’s played at all levels – Conference Premier, North and League 2.
"He’ll be a good addition to the squad and he’s got plenty of goals in him so it’s great to have him on board."
Cambridge chief executive Jez George thanked Cunnington for his efforts in a U's shirt.
He said: "Adam is held in the highest regard by all the staff and players. He played a major role in our success last season and leaves with our best wishes.
"In the transient world of football, it is not often that a departing player makes such a lasting impression in such a short space of time but this was the case with Adam.
"He is highly respected as an honest, genuine and selfless contributor to the club as well as through his hard work, bravery and endeavour on the pitch."
Cunnington could make his Fleet debut on Saturday when Day's side visit Sutton United in Vanarama Conference South.
It's been a busy week at the PHB Stadium. Four players - Billy Bricknell, Ben May, Shane Huke and Michael Corcoran - have left the club, while Alex Osborn has joined Concord Rangers on a month's loan.
