Ebbsfleet United's squad is looking stronger than ever - so now manager Daryl McMahon has to find a way to keep the players not in his starting XI happy.
Adam Cunnington, Danny Haynes and Anthony Acheampong are among those yet to start for the Fleet in 2015/16 while plenty more haven't even made the matchday squad.
McMahon's side are unbeaten and top of Vanarama National League South having taken 25 of a possible 27 points so far. There's no need to change a winning side for the sake of it but McMahon knows he has quality alternatives waiting in the wings.
He said: "We’ve got a terrific squad and so far, because we’ve done so well, we haven’t seen the full arsenal yet.
"We’ve got some terrific players that haven’t played yet - not average players, not good players, terrific players.
"Cunnington, for me, is still going to get double-figures for us this season without a doubt, he’s a big player for us. I know probably at the minute he’s a little bit frustrated because he’s not getting the minutes he wants and probably deserves from what he’s done in training but he’s a top player for us.
"Danny Haynes is the same, Dean Rance was missing on Tuesday, Michael West's coming back from injury, Charlie Sheringham's coming back, Sean Shields wasn't in the squad, we’ve got some really good players. Acheampong as well hasn’t played a minute yet."
Cunnington scored 10 goals from 18 starts last season after joining from Cambridge United but so far this term ex-Gillingham striker Danny Kedwell has got the nod up front every time.
McMahon said: "I think Kedwell’s been excellent this season. He leads the line well for us, he brings other players into play and he’s a real leader for us.
"Him and Adam can definitely play together but I just see Matt Godden working off Keds at the minute.
"Adam will get his turn, there’s no doubt about that, and I’m sure he’ll take it."
Most of the 25 players in Ebbsfleet's squad are now fit.
West came off the bench during the 1-0 win over Sutton on Tuesday for his first appearance of the season while Sheringham and Shields both warmed up before that game.
McMahon said: "Shieldsy’s fit but it’s hard to squeeze everyone in. It is difficult. Shieldsy will tell you himself he’s trained really well but they understand.
"Craig Braham-Barrett’s the same. They understand the boys have played well, it’s another clean sheet, another win and it is difficult to get into the side.
"I’ve stressed to all of them, particularly in pre-season, that I’m fair. When you get in the team and you play well, it’s your shirt. Make sure you come in every day and work hard and when you get in the team, if you’re doing well, you’ll stay in it.
"I don’t care what your name is or where you’ve played. I’m not bothered about that. If you come in and work hard and do well, you’ll stay in the team."
McMahon isn't getting carried away by Ebbsfleet's brilliant start but he knows this squad has huge potential.
"I love watching them every day," he said. "I love taking training sessions and they’re a joy to manage.
"Every single day, our sessions are high-tempo, the boys work hard and it’s a privilege to manage them. I hope they can keep that for the rest of the season."
