Crawley v Ebbsfleet
EBBSFLEET boss Liam Daish has emphasised that the club’s Blue Square Premier play-off hopes will not be determined this week.
Fleet face tough trips to Crawley and Torquay within 48 hours – a situation which has previously angered Daish.
He spoke out after Setanta switched Fleet’s televised match with Crawley from Tuesday to Thursday (today), leaving his side with the prospect of making a 220-mile trip to Torquay on Saturday, less than a day-and-a-half after their game at Broadfield Stadium.
Daish said: “I don’t think it is going to be make or break.
“We just have to try and keep our run going. I’d be surprised if we win every league game but having said that we want to continue going out to win each game."
Daish will have a full squad to choose from after Peter Hawkins (groin) returned to training.
