MANAGER Liam Daish praised his players' work rate after watching his Gravesend side earn a point against Burton on Saturday.
Charlie MacDonald went closest to breaking the deadlock, but his second-half effort crashed against the post.
Daish said: "We worked hard and kept a clean sheet, so you have got to look at that as a positive.
"Earlier on in the season Charlie's effort probably would have gone in. We have got to keep believing that our luck will change."
In a poor first half, Joel Ledgister went closest for the Fleet after he was played in by Sacha Opinel, but Burton goalkeeper Kevin Poole was quick off his line to clear the danger.
Darren Stride had the visitors' best opportunity, but his header from a free-kick went narrowly wide.
Gravesend created the best of the chances in the second period, with MacDonald going close after 63 minutes. After receiving a pass from Stacy Long, MacDonald fired in a shot from the edge of the area which was well saved by Poole.
Jon Shaw almost scored for the visitors, but his header was saved by Fleet goalkeeper Lance Cronin.
MacDonald then saw his 30-yard attempted lob crash off the post and somehow spin out of play for a goal kick.
Onome Sodje headed Long's 83rd-minute free-kick wide and Fleet's afternoon was summed up when Long blazed over the top after cutting in from the left in the 89th minute.
