DAISH: "It's no fluke"

Gravesend & Northfleet v Kidderminster Harriers

GRAVESEND return to Stonebridge Road on Saturday buoyed by recent results and sitting third in the Nationwide Conference.

Apart from a brief spell in second place during Andy Ford’s era, the club have never been higher and current Fleet boss Liam Daish is determined to keep them there.

He said: "It’s no fluke that the team are in third position with nearly half the season gone and they deserve a bit of credit.

"I want us to stay up where we are and so do the players, fans, directors and the board."

Fleet hope to have Mark Ricketts back in the squad for the Kidderminster match following an ankle injury.
