Danny Kedwell and Aaron McLean are set to sign new deals at Ebbsfleet.
Both strikers have been away on holiday since Fleet announced their retained list two weeks ago.
They are due to meet with manager Daryl McMahon in the next few days although midfielder Sam Deering is expected to sign for Billericay when his Ebbsfleet contract expires on June 30.
Kedwell, 33, who captained Fleet to promotion last season, is also their academy manager, while 34-year-old McLean was back in the team at the end of the season after seven months out injured.
McMahon said: "We don’t want to lose Keds. He’s been a terrific player for me and he’s a player we definitely want to keep.
"Aaron’s away as well but we hope that can be done. I expect Aaron to be with us next season."
Both players have plenty of experience in non-league's top flight, Kedwell with Grays and AFC Wimbledon - who he skippered to play-off glory in 2010/11 - and McLean with Aldershot and Grays, from where he earned a move to Peterborough.
Ebbsfleet already have 15 players signed up including summer acquisition Danny Mills.
McMahon said: "We did it pretty quickly for the majority of them. A lot of them were away so we couldn’t get that done and there’s still a couple to be done from the current squad.
"When you achieve something as a team, as a group, the players want to stay. They want to play at the next level, for this football club, and I think they’re all looking forward to it.
"We’ll probably be looking to do five more signings, including the ones we’ve got already, re-signing them and then maybe two or three new ones coming in.
"Hopefully over the next week we’ll get some business done."
