Dhami all set for big fight

KENT boxer Harry Dhami says he's 100 per cent confident of victory in his British welterweight title fight against Neil Sinclair in Glasgow on Monday night. The Gravesend fighter could make history by becoming the first British Asian to win the Lonsdale belt outright by beating Sinclair in his third defence.

But a victory would also put him in line for a European title shot and make the sport's big chiefs sit up and take notice. With so much at stake Dhami is leaving nothing to chance in a fight that he sees as the biggest of his career so far.

He said: “This is the big one. It was an honour to be the first ever British Asian champion but I want to be a world champion. I'm going all out to win and I'm 100 per cent confident of bringing the title home. I've prepared to the best of my ability and I'm in the best shape of my career."
