Ebbsfleet slipped back into the bottom four in Blue Square Premier after Tuesday's defeat at Salisbury.

And the player who scored City's fourth-minute goal was Gillingham defender Sean Clohessy, who has been on loan at City since September.

It completed a miserable four days for the Fleet, following their exit from the FA Trophy semi-finals on Saturday, and now manager Liam Daish must quickly try to lift his players.

Tuesday's defeat means that Ebbsfleet find themselves back in the relegation zone but- with matches in hand on all the clubs around them - at least their fate remains in their own hands.

For bottom club Lewes, however, there is no longer any hope. Their fate was sealed after York City and Grays both gained draws on Tuesday.
