Jefferson Louis returned to Stonebridge Road and net the winner as Wealdstone beat Vanarama National League leaders Ebbsfleet to stretch their unbeaten run to 13 games.

Danny Haynes and Matt Godden scored twice to level, before much travelled Louis struck the 67th minute winner.

Fleet were caught cold at either end of the first half.

Two goal Matthew Harriott, signed this week from league rivals Hemel Hempstead, had a debut to remember, firing the visitors in front after only two minutes.

The home defence failed to defend the visitors first corner, and Harriott fired home from inside the area.

Louis then saw his effort bounce off the top of the bar as Wealdstone came inches away of getting a second.

Fleet responded, having loud appeals for handball turned down, then seeing Danny Kedwell's effort ruled out for an apparent foul.

John Paul Kissock fired wide, before Danny Haynes fired Fleet level, climbing well to head in a cross from the left, his third goal of the season.

Fleet went close to a second, creating numerous chances, only to be caught out again on the stroke of half-time.

Fleet's back four dithered again, caught out by a swift break, the ball falling to Harriott who made no mistake.

Haynes and Matt Godden went close soon after the restart, before the latter levelled things up again, getting in on the end of Stuart Lewis' corner.

Kissock then saw his effort deflect off a defender onto a post and away for a corner, then Joe Howe saw his goalbound header pushed away by Wealdstone keeper North.

However Fleet were again found wanting at the back five minutes later.

Again Fleet were caught out again, this time on the right, the ball finding it's way to Louis who fired home off the underside of the bar.

Fleet sent on Charlie Sheringham, his first action following a long-lay-off, and Jordan Parkes before Kedwell sent a rasping free-kick just wide.

Skipper Tom Bonner and Howe were both booked, bringing the match card-count to eight.

Six minutes were added on at the end with Parkes and Sheringham both having shots saved.

Fleet won two more free-kicks deep into added time, but Parkes fired over and Kedwell's effort was blocked.
