Kent's Charlotte Edwards led England to their first World Cup final in 16 years following a record-equalling 17th straight one-day international win.
Edwards' side were indebted to Claire Taylor's rapid half-century as they thrashed West Indies by 146 runs.
Taylor hit 64 off only 56 balls in England's total of 236-8 in which Sarah Taylor contributed 78 and Caroline Atkins 50.
West Indies were bowled out for only 90 with almost 12 overs unused.
"To make a cup final is really special," Edwards, who plays for Kent and Hartley Invicta, told Cricinfo.
"It's something we've worked really hard for and we're not going to give it up now.
"I keep saying to the girls it's only half a job done and our biggest game is going to be on Sunday."
England could face New Zealand in a repeat of the 1993 final. England won that encounter at Lord's to lift the trophy for the second time.
