NOT for the first time this season, Andy Ford's Gravesend showed what a better side they are away from Stonebridge Roadhome.

Saturday's success was their fifth on the road in the Conference, compared to four at Stonebridge Road.

Striker Roy Essandoh, who has yet to score at home this season, helped himself to a second-half brace as the Fleet came from behind to put more daylight between themselves and the three relegation places.

The Fleet fell behind in the ninth minute when Alex Meechan slid the ball home.

Essandoh started the fightback in the 69th minute when he headed home Steve Perkins' cross. Six minutes later he pounced to score the winner after goalkeeper Steve Perrin failed to hold Steve McKimm's shot.

The Fleet gave a debut to Moussa Sidibe, brother of Gillingham's Mali international Mamady, who came on after 51 minutes as replacement for midfielder Rob Owen.
