Fleet striker Bradley Bubb knows that every goal counts in the National League South title chase.
Bubb’s last-gasp equaliser at Hampton kept Fleet’s fate in their own hands – and the title could yet be decided on goal difference.
“We all know that it could be tight so every goal is crucial,” said Bubb. “Every game then becomes even bigger.
“We need to keep scoring goals because it’s tight at the top and it could come down to goal difference.”
Bubb revealed that the Fleet were aware of improving their goal difference during last week’s club record win over Bishop’s Stortford.
He added: “We kept going. We knew that Bishop’s Stortford were gone and we wanted 10 – we nearly got it!
“We’ve still got to win every game and hopefully Maidenhead slip up. If they don’t slip up, then we’ll go to their place and take three points.”
