Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton will be making a raceday visit to Brands Hatch during the DTM event at the end of the month.

Hamilton will be performing some demonstration laps in his Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 car and taking part in a special autograph signing session in the paddock.

His appearance will coincide with the world’s fastest touring cars coming to Brands from August 29-31.

Germany’s Timo Scheider currently leads the standings in his Audi A4, but he faces a strong challenge from British Mercedes driver Jamie Green, who is just four points adrift in second place.

Among the homegrown hopes is Bromley’s Gary Paffett, who will have strong support from the crowd at his local circuit.
