FA Trophy first round draw featuring Dover Athletic, Ebbsfleet United, Maidstone United, Bromley and Welling United

Four of the five Kent clubs in the FA Trophy have been drawn away in the first round.

Dover Athletic face a tough trip to Whitehawk, who are challenging for promotion in National League South and knocked out Dartford in the third qualifying round.

Sixth in the league above, Chris Kinnear's side reached the Trophy quarter-finals last season before losing to Bath City in a replay.

National South leaders Ebbsfleet United will be away to their league rivals Oxford City, the two clubs having played out a 1-1 draw at Stonebridge Road earlier this month.

Ebbsfleet, who were also quarter-finalists last season, booked their place in round one with a 4-1 win over Molesey on Saturday.

Elsewhere at the weekend, a last-minute Jay May goal earned Maidstone United a 1-0 win at Hampton & Richmond and their reward is a home tie against Bognor Regis Town.

Stones are second in National South and they last reached the second round of the Trophy in 2012/13.

Welling United have been drawn away to Tilbury, who play three divisions below them in Ryman League Division 1 North.

And there will be an all-National League clash at Cressing Road between Braintree Town and Bromley.

The ties will be played over the weekend of December 12, carrying prize money of £5,000.
