Two second-half goals saw Ebbsfleet fall to a disappointing home defeat against Hayes & Yeading in Vanarama Conference South.
Louis-Rae Beadle scored Hayes' first goal early in the second half, firing past Fleet keeper Brandon Hall from the edge of the box.
Dan Wishart scored the second, 12 minutes from time, when his looping shot from the left went in off the far post.
Fleet did pull one back when Anthony Acheampong's header deflected in off Hayes' Matt Ruby from a Daryl McMahon free-kick.
However the home side couldn't force an equaliser - Dean Rance went closest, but saw his shot blocked in the six-yard box.
In a quiet first half, Charlie Sheringham had Fleet's best chance but he headed wide a Sessegnon cross, while at the other end Everitt headed over from a good position in the box.
Sheringham had Fleet's best chance of the second half too after he was put through by Sessegnon, but his attempted lob was easily saved by the keeper.
