Gravesend & N v Aldershot
MANAGER Liam Daish says his Gravesend & Northfleet players must build on their goalless draw against Burton Albion when they face Aldershot at Stonebridge Road this Friday night.
Fleet recently dropped out of the Conference play-off spots and will be looking to take maximum points against Terry Brown’s side.
With just 10 games remaining, Daish will be hoping his side can maintain the home form which has seen them take 31 points out of a possible 51.
He said: "Against Burton it would have been very easy for us to let our concentration waver and we could have ended up losing the game.
"But we didn’t and were mentally right at it throughout. We’ve now got to build a foundation and take the positives out of that."
Gravesend suffered a 3-2 defeat against Aldershot in their opening game of the season and Daish is expecting a tough battle.
He added: "It’s always tough against Aldershot. It doesn’t matter how indifferent they’ve played as they’ve got enough quality in their camp to produce something that will get them back into a game or get them ahead.
"We will have to concentrate throughout, give a solid performance and take any chances we get."
Danny Slatter (hip) is expected to be available to face Aldershot.
