Fleet aiming to retain top spot

GRAVESEND & Northfleet face a difficult away trip to Billericay tonight as they look to remain on top of the Ryman League Premier Division. Andy Ford's side are in confident mood having won their last six games and with no points dropped on their travels this season they will be looking for another good result.

However, Billericay are no pushovers and Ford admits he would probably be happy to avoid defeat at New Lodge.

Fleet striker Craig Wilkins, who scored twice in the hard-fought 3-2 victory over St Albans on Saturday, will lead the line for the visitors as they hope to extend their one point advantage at the top of the table.

Justin Skinner and Jamie Turner are definitely missing through injury, although the latter will definitely play in the FA Cup on Saturday.
