GRAVESEND have been reinstated in the FA Trophy after AFC Wimbledon were expelled for fielding an ineligible player in their second round tie.
AFC Wimbledon won the game 1-0 but the Fleet will now take on Rushden & Diamonds in the third round on February 3.
The Ryman League side were charged earlier this month after Jermaine Darlington played in the tie. Darlington had previously played for Cardiff City and had not obtained international clearance before representing AFC Wimbledon, as required by competition rules.
Gravesend will also receive the £5,000 prize fund payment from the second round.
AFC Wimbledon were also ordered to repay the prize money received from two previous rounds, totalling £7,000.
