GRAVESEND manager Liam Daish moved swiftly to solve the club's goalkeeping problems with a double signing.
Having snapped up 22-year-old former Walsall, Worcester and Havant and Waterlooville player Aaron Kerr, he then prised England non-league international Craig Holloway away from Farnborough.
The goalkeeping problem assumed greater urgency with the loss of both James Pullen and Paul Wilkerson from last season’s squad.
"We’ve signed two goalkeepers on full-time deals and I’m more than happy," said Daish.
"They are better than the goalkeepers we let go and though it took a while to get both on board it was worth the wait.
"Craig twice won the FA Youth Cup with Arsenal and spent a period on loan with Southend. I regard his signing as a coup."
Daish completed a hat-trick of signings by giving a one-year contract to defender Danny Glozier, son of a former Fleet assistant manager and Dartford favourite Bob.
Glozier, a former Leyton Orient scholar, will contest the left-back slot with Justin Skinner.
Meanwhile, Manny Omoyinmi's future at the club is still unlcear as he is mulling over the club’s offer of a pay-as-you-play contract.
"I hope Manny’s situation will be sorted out by the end of the week," said Daish. "He missed a lot of football last season through injury and we need him available week in, week out."
Daish is also considering signing another centre-back and is having talks with a player who is with a Kent semi-professional club.
