EBBSFLEET UNITED manager Liam Daish has fired out a stark warning to his players following the team’s 2-0 defeat against Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.
He said: "It’s no mystery that recently a few players have gone and no one has come in. I am not in the transfer market at the moment but hopefully that will change soon.
"It might be a case of freshening things up so I can bring players in that are going to help me push on to the next level."
Daish appears to have lost patience with his current squad of players and will probably use the loan market in an attempt to keep Fleet’s Blue Square Premier play-off hopes alive.
He added: "I love the players and think they are a great bunch of lads. I like working with them but at the end of the day I’m having to tell the same players the same things.
"Football is a business where you have got to perform and if they don’t I’ve got to think about bringing someone else in.
"In an ideal world you can stay with the same squad and go through, but at this moment too many players are not performing or doing what they’ve been brought here to do."
