GRAVESEND & NORTHFLEET manager Liam Daish has criticised a section of the club’s supporters after his players came under fire following their 1-0 defeat to AFC Wimbledon in the FA Trophy second round on Saturday.
Roscoe D'Sane's second-half goal was enough to book Wimbledon’s place in the third round as Fleet failed to find a breakthrough.
Daish said: "Certain supporters – or so called supporters – were being abusive to players.
"Everyone was disappointed about the cup exits but I’ve got a side here which I want to build on.
"There are certain factions of the supporters who prefer to moan. I just don’t understand what their mentality is."
