Marvel Ekpiteta has returned on loan to Ebbsfleet United for a second spell.

Ekpiteta spent much of last season on loan from the League 2 outfit and returns to Stonebridge Road despite the Fleet dropping down a division to National League South.

The 25-year-old made his Fleet debut in a home defeat to Maidenhead last October and impressed sufficiently during his time with the Fleet for them to extend that deal until the end of the season in January .

Ekpiteta played 25 times for Ebbsfleet last season, scoring two goals. He was used as a full-back or as part of a back three.

Ebbsfleet are due to start their season with a FA Cup tie on Saturday, October 3.
