Ebbsfleet have completed the signing of centre-back Declan Skura for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old defender joins the Fleet on loan from League 1 Wycombe Wanderers.
Skura has made three appearances in Wycombe’s first team this season - all in the EFL Trophy. He completed 90 minutes in 1-0 wins over Crystal Palace under-21s and Stevenage before playing for an hour against West Ham under-21s earlier this month.
He becomes the second player to make the switch from Wycombe to Ebbsfleet on loan this season - following Jack Wakely, whose progress was abruptly halted by a serious knee injury sustained at Barnet in August.
Ebbsfleet manager Dennis Kutrieb said: “He is one we were first alerted to when we signed Jack Wakely in the summer.
“He is an exciting player with a definite big future ahead and will be able to go straight in at National League level just as Jack did for us in the early part of this season.”
Skura, who was with Chelsea and Reading as a youngster, said: “Any team I play for, I play with passion and I play for the badge.
“There’s a lot of points to play for and I know a lot about the National League and how competitive it will be.
“I take my career one step at a time so it’s all about my time with Ebbsfleet right now, to focus on training and to focus on getting in the matchday squad.”
Ebbsfleet, who sit inside the National League relegation zone, return to action at home to Hartlepool this Saturday at Stonebridge Road.
