Ebbsfleet United sign former Ipswich Town, Colchester United, Barrow and Aldershot defender Myles Kenlock

Ebbsfleet boss Dennis Kutrieb has made his fourth signing in recent weeks by bringing in a new defender.

The Fleet have signed Myles Kenlock, another player who has been without a club since the end of last season.

The 26-year-old ended last season with Aldershot in the National League, where he featured nine times. He had started that campaign with Barrow in League 2, where he made eight league outings.

Croydon-born Kenlock spent seven years at Ipswich, where he made 85 league appearances. He also enjoyed a successful loan spell with Colchester in League 2, scoring three goals in 20 games in the second half of the 2021/22 season.

“I’m a hardworking defender and good on the ball and my aim is to keep clean sheets,” said Kenlock.

The Fleet have gone 15 matches without a clean sheet in all competitions.

Kenlock joins Jordon Ibe, Dominic Samuel and fellow defender Mustapha Olagunju in signing for Ebbsfleet in recent weeks.
