Ebbsfleet United 2 Droylsden 0
STRIKES from Raphael Nade and Chukki Eribenne earned Ebbsfleet United an ultimately comfortable victory over lowly Droylsden at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
Nade netted from close range in the 52nd minute after an incisive run from Chris McPhee.
Substitute Eribenne finished clinically 25 minutes later after receiving a Stacy Long free-kick with his back to goal.
The Fleet were never seriously threatened after the break but Droylsden came closest to scoring in a dour first half.
Terry Fearns shot first time from 30 yards after spotting Lance Cronin off his line but the Fleet keeper did well to scramble back and tip the ball over.
And Steve Daly should have done better when played in by Chris Denham.
Ebbsfleet were restricted to long shots with Long and Warren Goodhind both going close.
Ebbsfleet: Cronin, Goodhind, Hawkins, Opinel, McPhee, Bostwick, Long, Barrett (DeBolla 78), Moore (Coleman 87), Nade, Hastings (Eribenne 64).
Subs Not Used: French, Smith.
