The 19-year-old will now stay with Ebbsfleet until January 4, although he is not allowed to play in this weekend's FA Cup first round tie against Notts County as Charlton do not want him cup-tied.

"I have to say that in training he is one of the best players I have ever worked with," said Ebbsfleet assistant boss Tristan Lewis.

"He is an exceptional young talent and I am sure great things will come for him."

Morgan scored his first Fleet goal in the 4-0 win at Chorley and has made four appearances for Ebbsfleet.
