Gravesend & Northfleet v Aldershot

GRAVSEND boss Liam Daish described the club’s injury problems as "relentless" after revealing he could be without up to seven players for Saturday’s visit of Aldershot in the Nationwide Conference.

Jay Saunders, Ross Smith, skipper Paul McCarthy, Andy Drury, Jimmy Jackson, Mark Rawle and Danny Slatter are all doubtful.

Daish said: "There were just seven players available for training on Monday, which tells its own story."

Newcomer Peter Hawkins makes his home debut against the Shots on Saturday following his arrival last week from Rushden & Diamonds.

The 27-year-old Maidstone-born defender is an old friend of Fleet assistant manager Alan Kimble from their days together at Wimbledon in the late 90s.
