Boss Daryl McMahon declared his transfer business “more or less” complete after taking five new signings to Ebbsfleet’s training camp in Portugal.
Myles Weston and Sam Magri are both in the Algarve with their new team-mates this week after following Danny Mills, Jack Payne and Bagasan Graham to Stonebridge Road.
With the National League season now just four weeks away, McMahon has 21 senior players in his squad plus youngsters Ollie Boulding and Karn Miller-Neave.
He said: "I think that’ll be more or less us unless something comes out of the woodwork.
"We’re not actively looking for anyone now.
"My phone doesn’t stop, there’s always somebody that wants to come in for a few days’ training or whatever but, at the minute, the squad looks balanced and it’s about battening down the hatches now and forming it into a team."
Weston, a free transfer from Wycombe, has spent the last decade playing in the Football League.
He was a team-mate of Danny Kedwell when Gillingham won League 2 in 2012-13 and helped Southend into League 1 via the play-offs two years ago.
McMahon said: "He’s had a good career so far but he’s been stop-start for the last two years.
"He only played 25 games last year and the year before, at Southend, he was a little bit
in-and-out as well.
"We hope to give him a home. He’s 15 minutes from the stadium so it’s somewhere he can enjoy his football again, get his head down and get back to being the Myles Weston we’ve seen prior to the last two years.
"Keeping Myles fit is the key thing. We know he’s a talented player but everything’s got to align at the right time – family life, keeping him fit, him being happy and fitting into our system.
"Hopefully we can get the best out of him."
Magri, who rejected a new contract offer at Dover, can play at right-back or centre-half.
McMahon said: "Having people that can cover different positions is really important. In terms of us having competition, it’s excellent.
"Mags is young, he’s played nearly 100 games in two years in a successful Dover team, been a big player for them and he’s hungry to be full-time again.
"He’s a player with a lot to prove in terms of going full-time again and he’s got bags of experience at this level."
Ebbsfleet play Shrewsbury in Portugal on Saturday before returning home and making the short trip to Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday night.
