Fleet head for Hendon with full strength squad

GRAVESEND & Northfleet face yet another away day as they travel to North London to meet Hendon in the Ryman League, Premier Division, on Saurday.

The Fleet, currently second in the table behind Canvey Island on goal difference but with two games in hand, will be playing their seventh consecutive away league game. They have not played at Stonbridge Road since December 15.

Manager Andy Ford has a full strength squad to pick from, including recent signing Simon Parker, who scored his fourth and fifth goals for Gravesend in the BOSE Kent Senior Cup game against Dartford in mid-week.

Commenting on the title race, Ford said: "There is is a long way to go and there will be many more twists and turns between now and the end of the season. We have to stay level headed."
