Ebbsfleet stretched their unbeaten run to three games after being held to a goalless draw against Kettering in the Blue Square Premier at Stonebridge Road on Sunday.

The Fleet started brightly and striker Matthew Delicate forced Kettering keeper Lee Harper to make an early save.

The visitors had chances of their own with John Dempster firing just wide from 12 yards.

Dempster then saw his header from Craig Westcarr's corner crash against the crossbar.

In the second half, Ebbsfleet almost grabbed maximum points with the lively Michael Gash twice denied by Harper.

Ebbsfleet: Cronin, Ricketts (Slatter 84mins), Smith, Charles, Opinel, Moore, Stone (Murray 77mins), Barrett, Long, Gash, Delicate (Purcell 63mins).
