Fleet in goalkeeper reshuffle

GRAVESEND and Northfleet have completed the signing of goalkeeper James Pullen from Peterborough on a one-and-a-half-year deal.

The shot-stopper has spent the last month on loan at Welling but was eager to tie up a permanent deal after being told he was surplus to requirements at Posh. He made six appearances for Paul Parker’s side.

Fleet reserve keeper Charlie Mitten was released and has filled the void left by Pullen at Welling, making his debut in the 3-2 win over Sutton on Saturday.

Pullen, who had previously been at Ipswich, spent time on loan at Conference side Dagenham & Redbridge last season.
