EBBSFLEET United goalkeeper Lance Cronin has been named in a 16-man squad for the England C team in the opening International Challenge Trophy group A fixture with Finland.

The game will be played at the Finnair Stadium in Helsinki on Wednesday November 14 (kick-off 6pm).

The trophy, which England are the holders of, will be contested by eight nations.

England are joined in group A by Finland, Italy and Wales. In Group B are Belgium, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Slovakia.

The winners of the two groups will play in the final, scheduled for February 2009.

The remaining England fixtures will be at home to Wales on February 20 and Italy away in November 2008.
