EBBSFLEET United manager Liam Daish has bolstered his squad by signing midfielder Neil Barrett from Woking.
Barrett was Daish's second summer signing, following the arrival of defender Gary MacDonald who also made the move from Kingfield to Stonebridge Road.
The 25-year-old started his career with Chelsea alongside Fleet midfielder Danny Slatter.
He then moved on to Portsmouth in 2001, where he made 23 appearances scoring two goals, before eventually joining Dundee in 2004. He has also had spells at Livingston and Exeter City.
Daish said: "Neil made a big impact during his time at Woking. Glenn Cockerill rated him very highly, and current manager Frank Gray wanted him to go back for pre-season this summer, so we have done well to bring him to the club.
"He will bring a physical presence to our midfield and is capable of getting his name on the scoresheet."
