Stevenage Borough v Gravesend & Northfleet
GRAVESEND will be looking to put one over former manager Andy Ford when they play their fourth game in eight days at Stevenage on Saturday.
Ford, who quit the Fleet on January 25, has since been appointed as the assistant manager to Stevenage boss Graham Westley, who harbours Nationwide Conference play-off ambitions.
Fleet manager Liam Daish said: "I want to finish the season on a high and certainly do not want to go into next season on the back of a number of losses. It won’t be long before the players are sitting on a beach, but until then I want everything done properly.
"Ideally, I would like to rotate the squad with all these games coming up in such a short space of time. But I still need most of my best players out there.
"At this stage of the season you just want to get three points in the bag before looking to the next game."
The Fleet could be without central defender Nathan Bunce for the rest of the season after he limped off with a hamstring strain just 12 minutes into Tuesday night’s 3-0 victory at Farnborough.
On Tuesday, Gravesend will play their fifth game in 11 days with a re-arranged fixture away at Exeter.
