GRAVESEND & Northfleet have received an approach from Rushden and Diamonds over the availability of Liam Daish for the vacant manager's job at their club.
Daish was appointed Fleet manager in February 2005 and has overseen the club's transistion of going from part-time to full-time.
This season he has guided the club to sixth in the Nationwide Conference and recently masterminded the team's 1-0 win over league leaders Oxford United.
Gravesend chairman Jason Botley said: "This is a positive reflection of Liam's performance and I am not surprised that other clubs are taking an interest in him.
"However, we have no wish to see Liam leave the club and I know that he feels the same way. As far as the club and Liam are concerned this is the end of the matter."
