Bobby-Joe Taylor has joined Ebbsfleet United after leaving Dover.
Taylor, who plays left-wing or left-back, has been unveiled as Fleet’s 16th summer signing following his departure from Crabble, where he made 61 appearances in almost two years.
The 25-year-old is well-known in Kent having also played for Maidstone, scoring a wonder goal against Fleet in the 2016 National South play-off final and also converting from the spot as Jay Saunders’ side went up on penalties.
Taylor started his career at Cambridge, making several Football League appearances and taking his place on the bench at Old Trafford when the U’s faced Manchester United in the FA Cup.
After winning promotion with the Stones he scored nine goals in his debut National League campaign, earning a transfer to Aldershot Town for 2017/18.
A move to Bromley followed before Taylor made the switch to Dover in November 2018.
His contract with the Whites, which had a year to run, was cancelled by mutual consent after Dover made everyone available on free transfers.
He's the second left-sided player to join Ebbsfleet in as many days, with James Dobson joining on loan from Dagenham on Monday.
