Ebbsfleet have signed Dagenham striker Corey Whitely for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and could make his Fleet debut at FC Halifax on Saturday having travelled north with his new team-mates.
Whitely was the Daggers player-of-the-year in 2016/17 and scored against Ebbsfleet when the sides played out a 3-3 draw in August.
Fleet have been linked with several Dagenham players this week and manager Daryl McMahon was delighted to end his long search for a new forward.
He said: "We’ve really put in the hours trying to secure players but I’ve always maintained I wanted the right ones and Corey fits the bill.
"He’s an exciting player with a great couple of seasons behind him that I hope he’ll build on here at Ebbsfleet."
Whitely, who joined Dagenham from Enfield Town in August 2016, went on to score 24 goals in 72 appearances.
