GRAVESEND & Northfleet have signed right-back Lee Gledhill from Ryman League St Albans and he could make his debut in Saturday’s Conference game with Halifax.
Gledhill, who played on a non-contract basis for St Albans, did not cost a fee.
Meanwhile, Fleet's Ben Abbey is likely to be out for up to three weeks after damaging ankle ligaments against Weston-super-Mare.
On-loan striker Dennis Oli has been recalled by QPR and defender Paul Gibbs has also left following a trial period.
On-loan defender Lee Protheroe is expected to be recalled while centre-back Chris Moore is available after a ban, though a groin injury could keep him out.
Recently Gravesend have been humiliated by Dover in the Kent Senior Cup and then squandered a 2-0 lead against Weston-super-Mare. These results have convinced manager Andy Ford that changes need to be made. And sooner rather than later.
Ford stressed: "I think we need to freshen up one or two things. We need fresh blood."
