Ebbsfleet have signed former Charlton defender Osei Sankofa.
The 28-year-old has spent the last three years playing in Conference South. He ended last season with Hayes & Yeading after leaving Eastleigh in March.
He becomes Steve Brown's 13th signing as Ebbsfleet manager and the ninth new arrival at Stonebridge Road this summer.
Sankofa said: “I am very pleased to be joining Ebbsfleet United at this exciting time. Looking at the players signed already I am sure the style of football that we will play will be both exciting and attractive.
“When the plans regarding the future of the club were explained to me I could not wait to sign, it was an offer I simply could not refuse. I am really looking forward to getting involved in pre-season training sessions and working with the other members of the squad and the management team.”
Sankofa made his Charlton debut against Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2003. He stayed at The Valley until 2008 but only made occasional appearances for the Addicks.
The versatile defender was loaned out to Bristol City and Brentford during his Charlton days. He joined Southend in summer 2008 and went on to make 40 appearances across two seasons.
Sankofa played against the Fleet for Farnborough in the 2011 Conference South play-off final and he moved on to Boreham Wood that summer.
