Maidstone will be given around 800 tickets for the derby at Ebbsfleet on Tuesday, August 8.
The local rivals clash in the first week of the National League season having not played each other since the South division play-off final in May 2016.
Stones fans will need to buy a ticket in advance for the Swanscombe End of Stonebridge Road.
Ebbsfleet vice-chairman Peter Varney said: "The police have indicated five Category A games, one of which is Maidstone.
"That will be 759 tickets and an odd number, 30-something seats (in the old main stand).
"They'll be issued and that will be all-ticket for Maidstone fans in those areas."
A capacity crowd of 3,800 watched the play-off final, while the league game at Stonebridge Road that season attracted 2,157.
