Ebbsfleet can climb into the National League play-off places with a win at home to struggling Torquay on Tuesday night.
The Gulls have only won once all season while Saturday's 3-2 win over Barrow lifted in-form Fleet to 10th - their highest position since August.
Only leaders Macclesfield are in better form than Ebbsfleet but manager Daryl McMahon has warned the visitors will be tougher opponents than the league table suggests.
"They’re in the wrong position," he said. "They’ve got a new manager and a new team. They’re far better than where they are in the league and I mean that.
"Gary Owers is a very good manager, he's just signed Jamie Reid from Exeter and he’s got Rhys Murphy, a very good striker. They’ve got good players so we won’t take them lightly at all.
"If we do, we’ll get beat because they’re better than where they are in the division.
"From top to bottom, the league’s very competitive and I don’t see that being any different for the rest of the season.
"Anyone can beat anyone and it’s important that we just focus on us and make sure we’re at it all the time. When you’re not, you get beat or you concede goals.
"Every minute of every game in this division counts and we’ve got to make sure we’re on it again Tuesday night.
"You’ve got to treat everyone the same. No-one in this division is good enough, in my opinion, to go to any ground and think ‘we can just turn up and win’.
"We’ve got to make sure we’re about our business again on Tuesday night. We’ll give Torquay a tough game and they know that as well."
