Fleet defender Dave Winfield held his hands up after two Boxing Day errors proved costly.
The Fleet centre-back was at fault for both Dartford goals as their rivals ran out 2-1 winners on Boxing Day.
“Dave held his hands up in the changing room for both goals which is unlike him, he has been outstanding for us this season,” said Fleet manager Daryl McMahon.

“They were at crucial times of the game and gave them something to hold onto.
“I thought if it stayed 0-0 until the hour we would have grown into the game.
“It was the perfect game for them (after the defeat to Maidenhead). They were very good, they defended really well.
“Tony’s got a good team, he has been in the game for years and is a terrific manager. They’ll definitely be in the play-offs.”
When asked if McMahon felt his team lost the midfield battle, he replied: “No. I don’t think so. Drury, Rance and Lewis all did well. Powell came on and was outstanding.
“We did okay. We had a lot of half chances in the first half and I could see one dropping to Darren maybe and us tucking one away. In the second half the first 15 minutes were not the level we need to be at.
“They defended very deep so it was hard to get in behind. Goals change games and it worked out nicely for them.”
