GRAVESEND and Northfleet FC are hoping to tempt some of their former players out of retirement to take on a Gravesend League representative side to mark the league's centenary at Stonebridge Road on Wednesday, August 27.
Club chief executive Glenn Aitken said the club would love to welcome back some of the club's old favourites for the game. Any former Fleet player wishing to play should contact Mr Aitken at the club.

Peter Danzey will take charge of the Gravesend side with Roger Guard his assistant and team physiotherapist.
The team selected to represent the Gravesend League is : Mick Webber (Henley Utd); Martin Hall (New Ash Green), Dave Evans (Ryan's Bar) Tony Absolom (New Ash Green), Darren Lappage (Henley Utd), Ian Blair and Andy Drury (New Ash Green), Graham Wells (Henley Utd), Stuart Hoffman (Stone Club and Institute), Dave Thomas, Delroy Samuel (Old Prince of Orange). Substitutes: John Wills (Horns Cross Utd), Scott Reinke (Coach and Horses), Tommy Pender (Istead Utd), Kevin Bowles (Ryan's Bar). The match kicks off at 7.30pm.
