Midfielder Alfie Egan has earned himself a permanent move to Ebbsfleet United.
The 21-year-old has been on trial with Fleet throughout the summer after leaving AFC Wimbledon at the end of last season.
He was one of seven players released by the Dons but his performances in the last few weeks have impressed Ebbsfleet boss Garry Hill.
Egan only made one league appearance for League 1 side Wimbledon last season, along with two Football Trophy run-outs.
During pre-season, he has featured in five games for Fleet, playing 90 minutes on Saturday in the 3-1 win over Brighton’s under-23s.
His signing make it 10 new additions for Fleet during the off-season, with their opener against Halifax Town now just days away.
Prior to the weekend Hill added former Charlton Athletic striker Josh Umerah to his squad.
Latest signing Egan has played 28 games for Wimbledon. He has previously had loan spells at Sutton United and East Thurrock. During his time with Fleet he’s been playing in midfield although on Saturday he filled the right-back berth.
