Ebbsfleet are hoping to double their average attendance for Saturday’s match against Eastbourne when they host another Community Day at Stonebridge Road.
The Fleet will welcome new supporters from across the community with more than 750 free tickets already given out to schools, community clubs and youth football teams.
Ebbsfleet director Stuart Butler-Gallie said: “We’ve been running a Community Day for the last three years and it’s become a popular fixture in the calendar.
“We’ve worked hard to build relationships with our community partners on various projects and this is an opportunity for them to tend their wares to the fans.
“It’s a great opportunity for younger children to come and have a day at the Fleet, enjoy the carnival atmosphere and for us to show them what a good day out it is.”
The turnstiles will open from noon on Saturday with music from the likes of the No Limits Street Band and The Knights Academy.
There will be fairground rides, a candy floss stall and a tin-can alley on offer, along with food from the Kent African Caribbean Forum for supporters to enjoy in the social club.
Youth teams from Ebbsfleet’s academy section will take on their Barming Youth counterparts in a half-time penalty shoot-out.
Fleet’s community partners include No Walls Gardens, Kick Kent, Maritime Volunteer Service, Beat Club and Black History Month.
Mr Butler-Gallie added: “We want to make it a family occasion and there will be a street feel to the stalls by the social club.”
