Two key men are set to return for Ebbsfleet against Sutton on Tuesday night.
Club captain Dave Winfield is available for the first time this season after completing a three-match suspension.
And midfielder Dean Rance is also back, less than a month after having surgery on a groin injury.
The physicality of both players would be a welcome boost against one of the National League's most powerful sides.
Fleet boss Daryl McMahon said: "They're always good games. Paul Doswell's a good lad and he's got a strong team.
"Physically they're very good, they've got good pace in their team, good power and they've got some really good footballers as well.
"They had a good result on Saturday against Salford (winning 2-1) with 10 men so we know it'll be tough.
"Every game in this league is tough but in particular, Sutton are tough.
"We're looking forward to it. Hopefully we can go and perform again, get on the ball and move it."
Ebbsfleet have taken four points from their first three games while Sutton have seven.
McMahon said: "I thought we were slow against Chesterfield but in the other two games, Orient and Hartlepool away, we were very good.
"We all know we've had, and still have to come, a tough start.
"We're playing the four relegated teams from the last two seasons in our first five games and three of them away.
"Sutton were semi-finalists in the play-offs last year and we play them as well so we know we've got a tough start but the performances in the first few games have been pleasing.
"The performances are important. We were slow against Chesterfield but at Orient we were terrific and to go to Hartlepool on Saturday and put another good performance in, and get the win we deserved, I'm happy with that.
"Now we need to build on that going into the next few games."
Centre-half Kenny Clark is still out but should return for the trip to Barnet on Saturday.
